A United Vision
Communities are a collaboration of people and their actions. Every community has a economy, its assets, its history and its risks. People try to exploit these natural functions or promises change and invests that do not at all represent the growth and values the community holds. Development and improvement should not equal replacement and exclusion. Often the people that develop a community and its interests find themselves priced out or removed from the work they personally put into the vision. How we develop requires three investments. A better understanding of law and practice. Sensible programs that take the needs of people and the issues we face in unison. A investment strategy that both supplies a local economy and funding for good. Any successful community requires these features. The goal of community builder is to be a partner in these function to communities both where we live in Charlotte, NC and anywhere change is desired.
